## About the App

This is a Laravel web application software created to work as a middleware between a client side application like a Hubspot App or a Chrome/Firefox extension, and the Hubspot HTTP API Remote Service.

## Getting Started

Follow these instructions to get a copy of the project up and running on your local machine for development and testing purposes.

### Prerequisites

Make sure you have the following software installed on your system:

- **PHP >= 8.1**
- **Composer**
- **Node.js & npm**
- **A database server** (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)

### Installation

1.  **Clone the repository:**
    ```bash
    git clone {url}
    cd repo-folder
    ```

2.  **Install PHP dependencies:**
    ```bash
    composer install
    ```

3.  **Install JavaScript dependencies:**
    ```bash
    npm install
    ```

4.  **Create your environment file:**
    ```bash
    cp .env.example .env
    ```

5.  **Generate your application key:**
    ```bash
    php artisan key:generate
    ```

6.  **Generate link for storage files:**
    ```bash
    php artisan storage:link
    ```

7.  **Configure your database:**
    Open the `.env` file and update the database connection details (`DB_CONNECTION`, `DB_HOST`, `DB_PORT`, `DB_DATABASE`, `DB_USERNAME`, `DB_PASSWORD`).

8.  **Run the database migrations and seed with sample data:**
    This command will set up the database schema and populate it with sample data to get you started.
    ```bash
    php artisan migrate:refresh --seed
    ```

9.  **Build the frontend assets:**
    ```bash
    npm run dev
    ```

10.  **Start the development server:**
    ```bash
    php artisan serve
    ```

You should now be able to access the application at `http://127.0.0.1:8000`.
